What is AnimeJapan Public Day?
Public Days take place in an area where anime fans enjoy AJ Stages, official merchandise, Creation Stages, and Cosplayer's World, as well as exhibitor booths.

Can I line up overnight to wait for the doors to open?
Lining up overnight will not be permitted for the protection of minors and safety.
Will AJ Stages be streamed online?
To be decided. It will be announced on the official website whether AJ Stages will be streamed online.
Will stage events held at the exhibitor booths be streamed online?

Can I watch the AJ Stages from the seats if I purchase an admission ticket with stage lottery?
You cannot watch the AJ Stages from the seats with just your admission ticket only. If you wish to see an AJ Stage event, you need to apply for the Stage Lottery to win the ticket. Click here for details.
Are photography and video recording (or video streaming) permitted in the venue?
・Exhibitor Booths: Depends on each exhibitor. Please follow their rules.
・AJ Stages: No photography or recording.
・Creation Stages: No photography or recording.
・Photography of visitors including cosplayers: Explain the purposes of photography or recording to the person and obtain their consent. Secret photography is a crime.
*Posting on social media is allowed. However, AnimeJapan assumes no responsibility for any troubles between companies and individuals caused by posting images accidentally photographed.
*If you wish to visit AnimeJapan 2024 as a press, advanced press registration is required. The registration form will be available on the official website on February 20 (Mon).
About lost items
Please contact the information desk in the venue for lost items. After AnimeJapan 2024, please contact Tokyo Big Sight, as all lost items will be delivered to the Tokyo Big Sight Disaster Prevention Center. If you find a lost item in the venue, please bring it to the information desk.
Can I trade the items that I purchased in the venue?
"We have no plans to have a designated trading area. We may ask you to stop trading or move away from the location if your action disturbs other visitors, such as sitting down in the venue.
*The giving and receiving money, resale, etc., are prohibited. If we find such actions, we will ask you to leave the AnimeJapan venue. You may not re-enter. Also, we may report non-compliance to the police."

What is the Fast Ticket?
The Fast Ticket allows you to enter the venue earlier than visitors with the regular admission ticket.
Those with this ticket may enter the venue after visitors with the Premium Admission Ticket.
An admission ticket is required separately for entry.

From what age do we need an admission ticket?
"Admission tickets are required for those who are junior high school students or older.
Free admission is available for those who are elementary school students or younger, only if they are accompanied by their guardian aged 18 or older.
One guardian aged 18 or older is required for one child eligible for free admission.

Do you give discounts to disabled visitors? Can disabled visitors enter for free?
There are no discounts.
Does a person accompanying a disabled visitor or a wheelchair attendant need an admission ticket?
Attendants also need an admission ticket.

About admission
Can I line up overnight to wait for the doors to open?
Lining up overnight will not be permitted for the protection of minors and safety.
Is re-entry allowed?
Only same-day re-entry is allowed. *Re-entry may take time depending on how congested the venue is.
How long shall I wait to enter the venue?
It depends on the situation of the day.
Please arrive at the venue well in advance.
Do you have security checks at the entrance gates?
We will conduct security checks for the safety of visitors at the entrance gates.
It may take a little longer to enter the venue. Please arrive at the venue well in advance.
The listed items below are prohibited items.
If we find any prohibited items in your baggage, we shall keep such items.
Those who don’t follow the instructions from our staff may not enter the venue.

*The size of fake weapons to be used for cosplay should be less than 130 cm.

④Firearms, smoke canisters, firecrackers, fireworks, explosives, gunpowder, flares, oils, and other hazardous objects

*The content of plastic bottles with liquid may be checked.
⑥Alcoholic drinks
⑦Psyllium glow sticks that are 30 cm or longer
*Customized psyllium glow sticks with enhanced light intensity, commercially available guide lights to be used for a similar purpose, other lighting devices, and illuminants.
⑧Ridable items (bicycles, roller blades, roller skates, skateboards, etc.)

*Video cameras are allowed to bring. However, their use is not permitted for stages and some exhibitor booths that prohibit photography.
*Please note that if you don't collect your belongings at the venue, such items may be disposed of after the event.
Can elementary school students or younger enter the venue alone?
No.
They must visit the venue with their guardian aged 18 or older.
One guardian is required per visitor who is an elementary schooler or younger.
*Guardians must have an admission ticket.
Do you have a designated entrance gate for disabled visitors?
We will ask disabled visitors to enter the venue in the same way as other visitors.
Those who require an attendant must visit the venue with their attendant.
Attendants also have an admission ticket.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
You may enter by wheelchair. However, there are no dedicated wheelchair routes and entrances, so wheelchair users are asked to use the same routes as the other visitors. Those who require an attendant must visit the venue with their attendant.
Please note that the venue will be very crowded. The venue is fully equipped with wheelchair-accessible restrooms and elevators.
Please let us know if you need assistance from our staff members.
We assist as long as it does not interfere with our normal operations.

No.

About AJ Stage
What are AJ stages?
AJ Stages feature events held at three stages in the venue: the RED Stage, GREEN Stage, and BLUE Stage.
If you wish to see an AJ Stage event in the venue, you need to purchase an admission ticket with stage lottery and apply for the stage event you want to see.
*A standing area will be available at BLUE Stage for visitors without AJ Stage entry tickets.

How many stage programs can I apply for with one admission ticket?
You may apply for five programs with one ticket.
However, you may not apply for the same program multiple times with the same ticket.
Can I apply for the same program multiple times with one admission ticket?
You may not apply for the same program multiple times with one admission ticket.
Also, you may only apply for programs held on the same day as the date on your admission ticket.
Can I apply for AJ stage events on Sun, March 24 using the admission ticket for Sat, March 23? (Or can I apply for AJ stage events on Sat, March 23 using the admission ticket for Sun, March 24?)
No. You may only apply for AJ stage programs held on the same day as the date on your admission ticket.
Can I use my account to apply on behalf of my friends?
Only applications submitted by the person who wish to attend the AJ events are accepted.
The interval between the end time of the previous AJ stage event and the start time of the next stage event is short. Can I apply for consecutive stage events?
You can still apply.
Please just note that you may arrive late for the next stage program even if you win the lottery for both events.
Do I need to pay handling fees to enter the lottery?
No handling fees are charged to enter the lottery. They will be charged only at the time of ticketing if you win the lottery.
Will AJ Stages be streamed online?
To be decided. It will be announced on the official website whether AJ Stages are streamed online.
Will you archive the videos?
To be decided. It will be announced on the official website if we will archive the videos.
Can I screencapture or record the streamed videos and sounds?
All contents streamed during AnimeJapan 2024 are subject to the laws and regulations including the copyright law and may not be used for any commercial or personal use.
Unauthorized posting, streaming or sharing on social media or video sites are not allowed.
If we find such actions, we will ask for immediate withdrawal and may take legal action against malicious cases.

About Business Day

Will Business Day be held in person?
In-person Business Day will be back this year for the first time in five years.
It will be held at Tokyo Dome City PRISM HALL.
What is Business Day?
Business Day is a place to have business negotiations for the development of the animation industry.
*General visitors are not allowed to enter. Business registration is required to enter.
*Students and those who are planning to start their businesses are not allowed to enter.
Is business registration free?
Registration fees for Business Day are as follows:
・Advanced registration: 10,000 yen (tax included)
・Same-day registration: 15,000 yen (tax included)
*You may enter two days.
When does the business registration begin and end?
Advanced registration: February 1, 2024 (Thurs), 10:00 am - March 22, 2024 (Fri), 11:59 pm
Same-day registration: March 25, 2024 (Mon), 9:30 am - 5:30 pm and March 26, 2024 (Tue), 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Can I register as a business visitor for Business Day on the day of the event?
Yes, you may register on the day of the event.
How can I register for Business Day?
Advanced registration is required for business registrations.
Advanced registration employs the external service "EventRegist" and requires a free membership to "EventRegist" to complete the registration process.

How can I apply for business meetings and matchings with exhibitors?
Make an appointment with the exhibitor or visit the exhibitor booth directly on the event day.
AnimeJapan Management Office does not disclose the contact of exhibitors.
Do you have free meeting rooms for business negotiation?
There are tables and chairs for business meetings in the business area that can be used for free.
However, the space in this area is limited. Please note that it may be full.
I am a student, but can I register for and enter Business Day?
Business Day focuses on business meetings and is open to those who are currently in business only.
Registration and entry of students are not allowed, including those who are thinking of starting their own business or have already got a job in the animation industry and start working in April.
