Introducing situations and trends in anime industry by 2017 statistics, the course will explore broadening sales channels both domestically and overseas.
Hiromichi Masuda (Senior Editor of Anime Indutrial Report / Association of Japanese Animation)
Profile: Starting with a recording company, Masuda has experience in music, publishing, anime, and various other content businesses. Currently, he works as a full-time auditor of Video Market Corporation and professor at Graduate School of Film Producing. At AJA, Masuda is a unit leader of statistics data, vice-chairman of the operation committee as well as human resource development committee.

Content: For those who wish to learn methods and effects of utilizing anime for merchandising, events, or advertisement, basics in licensing will be lectured with examples.
Kazuo Rikukawa (Managing Director, Character Databank)
Profile:Through his career in advertisement/marketing magazine editor and researcher at marketing firm, Rikukawa established Character Databank (CDB) in July 2000. While managing CDB businesses, he is also involved in writing, seminar, and commentator works in TV, newspaper, and magazines as character business analyst. Currently a executive director at Character Brand License Association, visiting researcher at Institute of Content Business at Sanno University. Rikukawa is also a mascot judging committee for Tokyo 2020.
